Introducing Hyper Tourer

This curious name has a simple and straightforward meaning. Nissan shares that the Hyper Tourer is meant to be “geared towards individuals who appreciate the finer things in life.”

Accompanying this definition is a concept van that promises a spacious cabin, styling accents right out of a Sci-Fi novel, unique lighting arrangements, and so much more.

Some notable design features include LED panels on the floor that are paired with overhead traditional Japanese Kumiko and Khushi patterns and ambient lighting features.

The aim behind these LED cabin designs is to give drivers the feeling that they are anywhere but in an automobile. Nissan maintains these one-of-a-kind LED floor panels will give travelers the feeling that they are floating above water. Other unique cabin features include swiveling front seats, autonomous driving tests, and an overall sleek and aesthetically pleasing cabin design.

Body Styling for the Future

The Hyper Tourer falls in line with what many think the future of automobiles will look like. Minimalistic body styling, geometric curves, and monochromatic color schemes define this concept van. Nissan maintains that through its body styles drivers should expect “a sense of comfort within.”

The first thing that will catch your attention with the body style is the sharp boxy look. Aside from a commercial sprinter van, there’s nothing quite as boxy as this Nissan concept. Accentuating the sleek side panels is a sleek rear that offers a very minimalistic style. There is no grill, no door handles, and no door mirrors.

Adding curiosity to the design is an LED light strip that separates the top half of the van from the bottom. These clean flat surfaces are not everybody’s cup of tea, but they do make for an advanced style worth remembering.

The vision of Hyper Tourer remains to be a concept for now. So, unfortunately, you won’t be finding this styling option at your local Nissan dealer anytime soon.
