Rimac Nevera Teaser Campaign Sparks Excitement Among Fans

Could there be a new version of the Rimac Nevera heading to the market? It seems a new variant of this electric hypercar is on the way.

Rimac created a new teaser campaign based entirely on user engagement with the website. This teaser is an image of a new Nevera that is being slowly revealed depending on the number of interactions with their post. As each person interacts with the post, another pixel is uncovered. Eventually, the image of the new version of the Nevera will be revealed. This image is a top view of the new car, which will eventually be revealed.

While we wait for this new version to reveal itself, let’s cover some of what makes this electric hypercar interesting and amazing.

Plenty of power for serious speed

The Nevera has four electric motors, with a motor at each wheel. This gets the numbers game started, and here are just a few more numbers for you.

    • 478 – Each electric motor produces 478 horsepower.
    • 2,476 – Each motor produces 2,476 lb-ft of torque.
    • 1 – Single speed reduction gearbox between the motor and wheel.
    • 2 – The Nevera is currently the second most powerful electric car in the world.
    • 1,914 – This Rimac electric car has 1,914 total horsepower.
    • 9,905 – The Nevera has 9,905 total lb-ft of torque.

    Impressive driving range

The Rimac Nevera is extremely powerful, which might sound like it should run out of juice quickly, but that’s not the case. This electric hypercar has a driving range of up to 304 miles on a single charge. This range is on the WLTP cycle, which is more forgiving than the EPA cycle, but it’s still pretty impressive.

    Carbon fiber everywhere

How can you make an electric car lighter? Save weight on body and drivetrain materials wherever possible. Many supercars utilize carbon fiber in various locations, which is the case for this Rimac. The entire monocoque is made of this material, which makes it extremely light but more than strong enough to withstand a crash and protect the driver. This allows the Nevera to save weight on what would be a very heavy car. The front and rear subframes are made of metal, which helps add more strength to this incredible hypercar.

    Heavy but fast

The Rimac Nevera might have carbon fiber in many places, but that doesn’t stop it from being a heavy car. Most electric cars are much heavier than their gas-powered counterparts, and the Nevera isn’t any different. This incredible supercar comes in at 5,070 pounds, but that doesn’t prevent it from having a top speed of 258 mph and reaching 60 mph in only 1.75 seconds. The Nevera can also finish the quarter mile in only 8.25 seconds, which is lightning quick.

    Constant AWD with power vectoring

All four wheels have individual motors, which means this car has full-time AWD, but it also means the wheels that don’t need to use as much power won’t. The Nevera has one of the most advanced Intelligent All-Wheel Vectoring systems in the entire world. This amazing electric supercar took on Nürburgring and finished in 7:5.298. This makes it the 22nd fastest car to go around this iconic track, which is pretty impressive. You might expect it to rank higher, but this Rimac wasn’t designed to only take on Nürburgring.

An AI driving coach is onboard

The Rimac Nevera can help drivers improve their lap times with the use of the onboard AI Drive Coach. This system measures your capability and provides methods for improving your lap times. This system measures your lines and angles to give you some great ways to cut time off your laps and make your track times much better. The system also shared your track data among other Nevera models to help other owners learn new tracks faster and improve their track lap times.

Records are meant to be broken

When he Nevera arrived, it broke 24 records and 23 of them were broke on one day. These records were not officially put into the Guinness book, but they were verified by Racelogic and Dewesoft, which makes the records accurate and verified. One record that did make it into the Gunness World Record list is the reverse driving speed, which this Rimac accomplished at 171.34 MPH. That’s an incredibly fast time going in reverse, which would probably scare most drivers.

The Rimac Nevera is an incredible hypercar that shows what the automotive world is capable of creating. A new version appears to be heading our way, but we’re not sure what this new version looks like just yet.
